Carpooling

A carpool is made up of two or more people riding together in the same vehicle. CICS can help your employees find carpool partners through our ridematching software.

Vanpooling

A vanpool is made up of seven to 15 people who commute together in a passenger van. One member of the group volunteers to drive, while the cost of operation is divided among the passengers. CICS provides the vehicles which are insured, maintained, and repaired by a third party vendor.

Emergency Ride Home

When any employee of a participating employer registers with CICS as a carpooler, vanpooler, transit rider, biker or walker they qualify for Emergency Ride Home. This is a commuter's insurance policy that they won't get stuck at work when an emergency arises during the day or they have to work late unexpectedly. CICS provides free taxi service home for all participants.
